  • About Me

Everything that written in this song, represent my feeling right now. Noah Cyrus has always be my favorite singer, ever. This song tell us how to let things go and be more acceptable. Thank you for my friend Ano who introduces this song for me. Love this❤️

The End Of Everything

Everyone you love is gonna die
But, darlin, so is everything, don't cry
The stars will blink out one by one in time
And everyone you love is gonna die
Everything you fear is gonna end
All your hate and hurt lost to the wind
And it's hard, I know the universe could be each other's friend
Everything you fear is gonna end

And there might not be a sadder thing
Than watchin' Saturn lose her rings
And black holes slowly dancin' in the dark
It's a song that they were born to sing
About the end of everything
Until it all goes up in one last spark

Everyone you love is gonna die
But so is everything so wipe your eyes
You know nothin last forever, but Lord, I try
Everyone you love is gonna die

All the saints and sinners are the same
We're blessed and we obliterate
And that's how it was written from the start
It's a song that we were born to sing
About the end of everything
Until it all goes up in one last spark

Everyone you love is gonna die
So don't you let the moment pass you by
And man, there really ain't no sadder thing
There really ain't no sweeter thing

Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Nanjing -

Being minority doesn't always bad. In fact, its the most beautiful thing that I've ever seen. Visiting this smallest cathedral that I've ever visited is the most fantastic, yet glorious moment. From this small cathedral I've been able to see the beauty of diversity, a lot of people come to this church; locals, foreigners, until those who come just to have a look. We are uniting in diversity.

Once I went to Sunday mass Eucharist for foreigners, that held every Sunday at 6PM, Nanjing time. My dorm was quite far from this cathedral so I have to go at 4PM, or else I would be late. Using Nanjing Metro line 1 and transit to line 2, I finally arrived in Shanghai Station where the church located and walk around 2km until I finally arrived. Its the longest journey that I have to take to have Sunday mass so far.

The choir were amazing. They spread the spirit to all of us, made us feel so energetic to follow the mass. I felt like I could dance all the way the mass if its allowed. God I love being here!

Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Nanjing -

Yes, like I've said; I Love being here. Church is also a place for me to have reflections.  It's so quite. Im in peace. Sometimes when I miss home, I feel like it's already the time for me to visit the church, have me time to talk to God, and tell Him everything that will relief me. Thank God I still alive.

Basically this post is also an appreciation post for me, because God gives me the unlimited blessings until now on. I also wanted to give a thousand thanks to Mother Marry, for making my prayer comes true by St. Marry's Novena Prayer. I really believe that if you ask earnestly, God and Mother Marry will have their own way to make your dreams come true. Prayers is a very precious medicine, one that helps and never fails✨

First Time Sewa Apartemen di Nanjing, China - Journey of The Week
Happy reading😻

After a long consideration between returning to Indonesia or staying in Nanjing, finally me and the two of my friends decided to immediately return to Indonesia. There were many considerations that made us agree to go home soon:
  • The virus has spread more and more, we are afraid that if we don't return soon, we will not be allowed to return to Indonesia over time
  • Issue that flights from China will soon be canceled in several countries such as Singapore and Thailand
  • Issue that China will soon lockdown their country (No flight allowed)
  • Our Class schedule postponed
  • Ticket prices are getting more expensive day by day.

Finally we bought tickets for the night flight on January 28, estimated 18 hours trip using Thai Lion airline. Stop-over point at Thailand for 12 hours, of course.

At that time the ticket price we got was RMB 2,210 (about 4.5 million rupiah) without luggage, only a 7kg cabin. It's really expensive for an economy class flight, because normal ticket for Nanjing - Jakarta is usually only in the price range of 2 million to a max of 3 million. But for the sake of our mutual safety, a little loss isn't really a matter as long as it's safe.

At 18.00 PM Nanjing time, my friends and I started on the way to the airport, Lukou International Airport, Nanjing. Our flight will be at 12.00 AM, but because the airport is far away from our apartment and we don't know much about the current departure system, we finally decided to leave as soon as possible.

Everyone is wearing mask at the airport. The mask we use is N90, a respiratory mask. At the entrance we were checked using a thermal gun. At that time I was in good health, but because of my paranoia I was very nervous, afraid that my body temperature would suddenly rise and I couldn't enter the airport, that's just what it was :(

Back to Indonesia 🇲🇨 - Rsjournal

After waiting for few hours, we finally checked in. Surprisingly, there are so many Indonesians😆. We thought it was just the three of us leaving at the time. It turned out to be a lot and not just us. Students from other university also flocked to their hometowns. At that time, my two friends and I were immediately happy because we had lots of friends, so we weren't afraid to get lost and just followed where they went.

Health Quarantine

Tbh, I'm a little scared and nervous because I'm traveling long distances, the transit in Thailand is also quite long, especially since we're from China. Fear of being labeled as carrying a disease or whatever they are called. That's why my friends and I were so routinely spraying hand sanitizer, every time after holding something, we spray spray spray here and there. Huh this is what we called paranoid, right?

At Nanjing airport, we went through several stages of checking. Thermal tests several times and a statement letter that we had never traveled to Wuhan in the near time, then later the letter was handed over to the Health Quarantine section. When you successfully pass the health quarantine, it means that you are safe and you are allowed to depart.

Back to Indonesia 🇲🇨 - Rsjournal

Praise God, we got the flight that transited in Bangkok only about 12 hours. Some of our friends got transit up to 20 hours🤯 . Fear will still arise because this is the first time this virus appears so we still don't understand how it spreads. But grateful that we were able to arrive in Indonesia safely. Thanks God💋.

Back to Indonesia 🇲🇨 - Rsjournal

Actually, if you think about it, the protocols carried out in China, Thailand and several countries in Southeast Asia are the safest, everyone is required to wear a mask, maintain cleanliness, use hand sanitizer and not allowed to touch things carelessly. Simple things that are trivial right?

This is one of the reasons why the spread of the virus in China can quickly recover, because they are very attentive to health protocols and do not ignore government advice.

Maybe Indonesia should learn more from countries that have succeeded in reducing the spread of the virus, considering that currently Indonesia is the number 1 country in Southeast Asia with the highest number of patients infected with the corona virus, which has reached 40 thousand more infected patients. Get well soon, my Indonesia, I hope that people who are still joking and wandering incoherently here and there and ignoring the protocols in this pandemic situation can immediately open their eyes so that they could immediately stop their ridiculous behavior.

Pengalaman Sewa Apartemen di Nanjing, Cina - Journey of The Week

Nihao, friends!

Akhirnya kami berusaha lagi mencari jalan lain tidak Hanya lewat app namun juga kontak langsung, dibantu teman saya yang jago mandarin, credits for both of you Jack Learn and Dian.

Pengalaman Sewa Apartemen di Nanjing, Cina - Journey of The Week
Agen pencari Apartment Deyou
Cara lainnya, kami Menggunakan Deyou.

Pengalaman Sewa Apartemen di Nanjing, Cina - Journey of The Week

Oh iya, nama apartment nya 武夷名仕园, yang artinya Wuyi Famous Official Garden.

Puas akan pelayanan Agen? ya Karena Akhirnya Kami punya tempat tinggal selama liburan. Sebuah apartement 4 kamar Untuk 8 orang, 2 kamar mandi, wifi, heater, tv, mesin cuci, water heater dll. Lumayan lah Untuk tinggal 1.5 bulan.

Soal harga? Mahal. Berikut saya beri rincian harga.

  1. Deposit : 3000 RMB (wajib dibayar, berfungsi seperti jaminan kalau terjadi sesuatu Dengan rumahnya, tapi bakalan dikembaliin minus uang listrik).
  2. Sewa apartment 1.5 bulan: 5500 RMB
  3. Biaya Agen: 1200 RMB
Total: 9700 RMB = Rp. 20,370,000 Untuk 1.5 bulan.

Tahun Baruan di BAIJIAHU 百家湖站 - Rsjournal

Yasss! Its almost a new year! walaupun di China tahun barunya baru dimulai saat imlek aka tanggal 25 januari 2020 nanti, tapi vibesnya masih tetep terasa guys✨

Okay back to the story. Jadi ceritanya, saya dan 3 temen saya; Jack, Shabrina dan Liu berencana buat menghabiskan detik-detik terakhir tahun 2019 di Baijiahu, sekalian count down rame-rame dan menikmati fireworks karena kebetulan kata orang Baijiahu sering buat even-even seru Seperti ini. Berhubung kami Anak rumahan (baca: Anak asrama), jadinya harus minta izin dulu buat keluar sampai larut malam biar ga dicariin Ayi penjaga dormnya.

Tahun Baruan di BAIJIAHU 百家湖站 - Rsjournal

Tapi emang sih, konon katanya kalo musím dingin makan eskrim jadi hangat hahahhaa padahal engga tuh rasanya sama aja🙃

Tahun Baruan di BAIJIAHU 百家湖站 - Rsjournal

Yey its almost countdown. Akhirnya kami memutuskan Untuk jalan-jalan diluar dan menikmati  usara dipertunjukan. Ternyata mereka menggelar acara street dance ditengah-tengah taman sambil menunggu count down dimulai.

Tahun Baruan di BAIJIAHU 百家湖站 - Rsjournal

Tahun Baruan di BAIJIAHU 百家湖站 - Rsjournal

Tahun Baruan di BAIJIAHU 百家湖站 - Rsjournal

Sekian tulisan saya. Have a nice day peeps!!!❤️

“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson

December, 2019. Can you imagine celebrating your first Christmas in other country without your family? can you also imagine how it's like to have a Christmas without holiday? Well, welcome to China, where holiday is only for China's day.

I thought it would be my first worst Christmas. I did not really get the Christmas vibes at the time, plus christian is minority here. But THANK GOD, that was only my thought. My Senior, who is also christian, invited me to follow the FCTA event which is Christmas celebration with children with disabilities in special school. I was so happy finally I got the chance to do something special, tbh.

It was located in Junzi School, Nanjing China.

There was a lot of volunteers. I was happy i got the chance to meet new friends who are also foreigner students. Some come from Philippine, some from Pakistan, India, Africa and also China itself. Gather around, cheering them up, and also give some gift to the kid is the most precious moment that I have ever experienced, even thought we still have one problem; language barrier.

Also Read: Precious Moment Di Yayasan Hamba! | Second Time Going To Orphanage

The celebration was amazing. It started with a small ceremony, singing the national song of China and gathered around. Then the game started. The game is designed for all the kids, and us as the volunteers can only support them. There are a lot of fun games and at the end of the event we give Christmas presents for them. Doll, snacks, candy, apples, etc. Then we have lunch together, eating jiaozi and boiled egg. It was all traditional, yet so fun.

All the kids were happy. I love this. they dream, create and imagine. They live their life without fear. I guess because they don't think too much. This is what their privilege. Having no fear, always be happy and not overthinking. But what about us? Somewhere along the line, feeling guilty, fearful, and unhappy has become the norm. It is almost expected. What happened to us to take away our feeling of excitement for what tomorrow holds and replaced it with worry?

Hard work paid off!!
On Wednesday, December 10th 2019 after a stressful months of practicing, we finally did it!.
It was an event from Economic Students of Nanjing Xiaozhuang University and us, as Indonesian students are asked to also give performance for this event and of course, we gladly accept it. We were practicing for like 2 times a week, starting from September.

Proud Indonesian🇲🇨 | Saman Nanjing Xiaozhuang University
Saman Squad🤘🏻

To be honest this is my first time participating in such an event like this.

When I heard the word saman for the first time, I wasn't really paying attention for that because I know I cannot dance, and dance is not my cup of tea. I've never been to a traditional dance practice before and this is the most interesting, yet remarkable things ever that I learned in China. As we know, Saman is one of the complicated traditional dance, using speediness and agility in order to make a cohesive movement towards one another. When my senior asked me to join saman, I laught at first. Me, dancing? hahaha. No way. Cant relate. But then one of my friends also asked me to join the saman dance and said that saman is not that hard, so why not join? Then I decided to join, but with half a heart. Even thought I was a thrash and I still forget some of the dance when we performed, at least I do my best, right?

Proud Indonesian🇲🇨 | Saman Nanjing Xiaozhuang University

There are a lot of movements, and tbh it drives me crazy. I'm not good at memorizing things and that's why every time we practiced, I always made at least one mistake. I was also didn't really into it until one day, one of my friend told me that I should proud of what I am doing. Being able to perform our own traditional culture in another country is such a blessing, and I am lucky to be part of it. Then a sense of pride arose on me😎 that's when I began to practice seriously. I learned that dance movement is not something that we memorize, it is something that we feel, something that goes along with the rhythm of the music. Harmonize. As soon as I learn how to feel the rhythm, I started to understand the movement. Saman become easier when I understand the rhythm. I make less mistake ever since that, and finally at the performing day I get the chance to show my own traditional dance, to other country. #PROUDINDONESIA🇲🇨
